HIV早期治療 女童停藥12年沒復發

研究人員今天表示，出生感染愛滋病毒（HIV）的1名法國少女，在結束治療後12年後仍處在找不到病毒的「緩解」狀態。

研究人員在加拿大溫哥華召開的國際愛滋協會（International AIDS Society）表示，在此之前，科學家從來不知道感染HIV的兒童能夠達到長期緩解現象。

法國巴斯德研究所（Institute Pasteur）學者沙茲－席瑞翁（Asier Saez-Cirion）領導的研究指出，儘管醫師不認為這名18歲的少女已完全治癒，但少女顯示對治療反應良好。

沙茲－席瑞翁受訪時表示：「我們可以在細胞裡面找到HIV，但在血漿裡沒有病毒複製的情況。」「我們至今不明白女孩感染情況控制良好的原因。」

研究報告說：「女孩長期處在病毒緩解的最有可能原因是，她在感染不久後立即接受抗反轉錄病毒藥物的合併治療。」

研究說，這名少女的「案例顯示，兒童一旦感染HIV，早期治療的確可能達到長期緩解的現象」。
