花蓮「台灣觀光巴士」昨日啟動新建置的「i-Carry智慧商圈旅客服務系統」與「語言導覽系統」，除有中、英、日3種語言導覽，還提供wi-fi上網，在車上就可透過App選購花蓮名產伴手禮，商品可直送機場，或配送到大陸、港、澳等地，讓旅客免拎貨一身輕。
花蓮縣觀光協會理事長許兆麟在剪綵儀式時指出，由交通部觀光局輔導的「台灣觀光巴士」，車上不僅有中、英、日語音觀光導覽系統，還提供免費wi-fi上網服務，更貼近自由行旅客需求；「i-Carry」則為跨境電子平台，提供快速的結帳系統，遊客透過APP，就能線上購買名產伴手禮，以信用卡等第三方支付工具結帳，省去外國旅客換錢、找錢、匯兌的程序。
許兆麟進一步說明，用「i-Carry」購買商品，可直接配送到機場，還可送達大陸、港、澳等指定地點，省去在旅途中提貨、帶貨的困擾，若對商品感到滿意，可於線上系統直接回購，這也使得原先的一次性消費成為「一次接觸，終身購物」，讓夥伴店家成為跨國際名店。
花蓮縣副縣長徐明表示，這是花蓮發展智慧型旅遊的開端，符合國際智慧型旅遊的新趨勢，花蓮走在台灣的前面，希望透過這些貼心的觀光服務，讓旅客到花蓮有更便捷、溫馨的旅遊體驗。
